40 years in the Construction Industry has given considerable knowledge of building projects ranging in value from small domestic to multi million pound schemes.
As a very experienced Quantity Surveyor working on commercial, residential, industrial, educational and health care schemes dealing with the entire process including initial feasibility and cost planning, preparation of specifications and schedules of work, preparation of contract documents, advising on likely cost of variations and preparation of the final account.
As an experienced Project Manager /Employers Representative working on various domestic and commercial projects, including new build and refurbishment, with values from £100,000 to £1.5 million
As an Expert Witness preparing reports for clients in both the domestic and commercial sector relating to schemes with values to £3M.
Regularly appearing in Court to give Expert Evidence both as Single Joint Expert and representing individual parties.
Since the introduction of the Construction Act taking a positive role in adjudication, acting as adjudicator and preparing referrals or acting on behalf of the responding party.
Regularly working with solicitors and barristers in preparing referrals to adjudication and / or arbitration.
